Physiotherapy Assistant: 1 year maternal leave starting mid December 2017.

We are looking for an energetic, hard working and very personable individual to join our great team.

20-30 hrs per week. There could be a possibility to remain on staff after the one year term. Candidate must be willing to work until 7pm on Tuesday and Thursday and morning hours on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. There will be no weekend hours.

It is preferable, but not required, that the individual have any formal training as a physiotherapist assistant. It is to their advantage to have some knowledge or experience in the area of health care and treatment of orthopedic injuries. The clinic will provide on the job training and use of any equipment in the purpose of treating clients. It will be the assistant's responsibility to help maintain a clean and safe working environment, applying modalities and treatment programs as deemed appropriate and delegated by the physiotherapist.  Other tasks may include minor administrative work duties such as typing, scheduling, photocopying and answering phone calls.
